Hi,

I have a parent portal site that has the link module to all of mine child portal sites.  Our current link setup this way

http://mysite/projectone  from internal

http://mysite.mycompany.com/projectone from external

When I add the link module and create a link to my child portal "projectone" I don't want to have to specify the absolute URL instead I want the link to be

http://mysite/projectone  if the user navigate to the parent portal from internal and

http://mysite.mycompany.com/projectone if the user navigate to the parent portal from external

I've tried to use the following method with no luck

  • Token [portal:url]/projectone Token doesn't work with link module
  • /projectone relative path doesn't seem to work with link module as well
  • <script>document.write(location.href)</script>/projectone I didn't expect this to work for security reason

Any other thought that you can suggest?  I really need to get this work in order for my Single Sign On to work.

Thanks,

Alan

Hi Alan,

I'm sorry, but I don't see a chance to handle that with the Links Module.

Best,
Benjamin

Hi Benjamin,

Thank you for your reply.  I was able to use ~/projectone and it solved my problem.

Thanks,

Alan

I have the same issue and it did not work on latest version of DNN (6.1.5). Any other approach I can try?
