A previously functional Link module has suddenly started giving this error:

Error: Links is currently unavailable.DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Count cannot be less than zero. Parameter name: count ---> System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Count cannot be less than zero. Parameter name: count at System.String.RemoveInternal(Int32 startIndex, Int32 count) at System.String.Remove(Int32 startIndex, Int32 count) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Links.LinkController.GetTargetContent(String Url) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Links.LinkController.RefreshLinkContent(LinkInfo objLink) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Links.Links.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

There were several links entered (and functioning) then suddenly this error appeared.   No new extensions have been added to the site since  this message appeared.

This is a DNN 07.03.04 (45) portal and Links module is version 6.2.1

Any idea what's going on?

Thanks,

Jill

Did you upgrade DNN? If so, or even if not, I would upgrade to the latest version of the module, which will be perfect for your version of DNN.

(The error message indicates a parameter mismatch, which indicates that there are some changes made to the DNN core that are not recognized by the older module. Specifically, there are new columns in the table.)

Thanks.   I did an upgrade on the module (even though there was no indication in the list that one was needed) and that seems to have fixed things.

I appreciate your response.

Jill
