I have new install of 4.3.1 and when I post a PDF file the LinkClick will not render the PDF.

On both my local version and on the production server it will not display PDF files.

The file is uploaded, the file permissions are correct and the user permissions are correct.

It will display other file types except the PDF.

I tested this on two different machines, two different portals, several different PDF files to make sure it was not an adobe issue.

The page opens, shows it has been built but there is no source code and there is no ERROR in the log.

It appears to happening anywhere there is a link to a PDF that goes through the LinkClick.aspx. In File Manager, Links Module, Documents Module and a custom modules, etc.

Here is why I believe it is a Bug in the DNN LinkClick class: If you do a right click on the link and "save file as" you can download the PDF file just fine.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Tom

Tom,
This is the first time I have heard of this issue. If you do find anymore information on the fix, please let us know.

I'm having the same problem. If I list the .pdf file as a URL, however, it renders it. I don't want to have to go back and redo all my links. I'm using DNN version 3.3.2.
