I get the following error - no further detail, any time I try to Edit a link:

An error has occurred.
Error: Edit Links is currently unavailable.

Running DNN 3.3.3, Just installed most recent version of links trying to solve this same issue.

Issue has been present since install. Host is ixwebhosting.

Other symptoms (on other modules) in case they help:  Can't add events to the calendar, can't see other users on line.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.  Tried to review procedures based on other threads, but not sure what I'm looking for.

Thanks!

Ok first off, please update to 3.3.4 as it fixes some security issues that were detailed in a security bulletin recently.

Next, did you change the databaseowner value in the web.config from "dbo" to something else? If so, this error has been documented and is going to be corrected soon.

Ok thanks.  Did a clean install of 3.3.4 and have the same issue from the getgo.  I don't believe that ixwebhosting allows me to leave the databaseowner as dbo, but I'll try again and confirm.

I am with ixWebHosting as well with the same issues. I de-installed Links 3.03 and installed version 3.01 from a previous dotnetnuke installation and everything seems to be working as advertised. Just a suggestion until the fix comes in.
