I realise this is a very basic question, I'm a .Net developer but not so savy with css/html.

For a website I am working on, I wish to have a menu that looks like this:

Fish
Cats
Dogs

 Kelpie
 German shepard
 Labrador
 Pitbull

Snakes

In this case the sub-items for "Dogs" are only shown when on the "Dogs" page.

The reason I posted this here is that my idea was to have two versions of the Links Module, ie "LinksModuleWithBigFont" and "LinksModuleWithSmallFont", so that I could apply different font sizes.
I wasn't sure how to create another instance of Link module and upload it. When I uploaded again it overwrote the existing link module.

Does this sound like the way to go or am I way off track?

Thanks,

Pat.

http://www.inventua.com - they have a great side menu that can be controlled via css to display just like that.

It can be added as a module or a skinobject into the skin.

Hi Nina,
Do you recall I worked with you on that finance website a few years ago?

I'm now living in Mildura - www.in-house.com.au
and doing a bit of DNN sites amongst many other things.

I did see that you're on the DNN Core team - good stuff.

Thanks for your suggestion, I will try out the side link.

Regards,

Pat Saunders.

OMG.. That site.. hehe.. yes.. How can I forget..  You were really up in the world of Apache Tomcat at it's infancy very clever guy I thought!! And, we set up our first in house Linux system then.  My son has lots of friends from Mildura.  How are you finding it?

Yes I remember you.  That site - well, I was duped in a big way, to the tune of many thousands. I've still got the formulas and data, but that didn't pay the bills.  In fact, I nearly fell for the - ... oh give us the code and we'll do a deal when we sell.. and when I said we need to put this on paper and formalise, and I need to get paid for my work.. nothing and the rest is history.

I've been on the core team for a couple of years now. Love this technology and enjoy helping where I can.

I'm using that menu on http://www.xd.com.au and http://www.schoolofgann.com just off the top of my head.

Keep in touch - my email hasn't changed and good luck with your variety of work!
