I have read several other posts here and they all indicate this module is broken. Can it be fixed please. I would like to put it on my home page and to link it to my blog on the same site. I put in the URL and it does not work. I put the URL into firefox or IE or Outlook and they all work.

Can something be done please.

regards, Mark

Mark, I believe most issues people are having are configuration issues. I use the Newsfeed module on most of my websites, all without any issues.

Hi,

you do not say how you are using it? Are you linking it to a blog on the same site?

Can you please explain how you have set it up?

I would appreciate getting past this problem and I'm sure others would too.

regards, Mark

I use it with a blog on the same site, blogs on other sites, RSS feeds from other sites.

Can you access your server via Remote Desktop? Can you browse the website from that server? I'd bet you have issues with that, if the RSS feeds are causing your issues.

If I put the feed URL into IE or firefox or Outlook it works ok. I mentioned this.

My blog rss feed is here http://www.networkengineering.org.au/Blog/tabid/54/rssid/0/Default.aspx

I would apprecaite ideas on how to link this with the News module and to get it working.

regards, Mark
