I downloaded News feed 3.1.1 "NewsFeeds_3.1.1_Source.zip" and didn't find the cource files !

Beside the new enhancments that is going to be added to version 4 , i want to be able to restrict the number of characters that will be displayed  for news item  description, I also noticed that the description body is encoded and so I see <br/> and html tags there ,i hope it will be a solution for that .

Added the delayed rss load will be great , also its important to implement paging in the news list .

please install source package like the install package in your dev portal (needs to be DNN 3.3.7, since the module is still DNN3 / ASP.NET 1.1) and the source file will magically show up.

That's really magic ,

BTW , I installed the module on the latest DNN version and the source files shown , so it seems that its not required to be installed on dnn3 .

And Why  the other  dnn modules have a source code even there version is 3 , like repository and links module .

news simply uses a different way of packaging, zipping most of the source files inside a .resources file.

News 3 installs properly on DNN3 - even source version - but you need VS2003 to compile it (or use the module upgrade wizard to migrate it into a DNN4 module)
