Hi Peter

I had quite a few problems with feeds not displaying / loading and always there was one solution that worked - clear the proxy settings from host settings. For some reason when you install dnn there are default proxy entries that stop the feeds working - at least this was my experience, everytime I deleted the settings and updated host settings the feeds worked ok.

thanks but it didn't help.  It has to be authentication because when I allow all users to view the blog page it works.  However registered user who are logged in can't see the feed unless the permissions are set to All Users.  But that allows user to see the BLOG page before they log in and that's not what I am looking for.

Is there a solution to this problem? I am running DNN 5.4.1 with News Feeds (RSS) 4.0.1 and the following feeds are not working on my site, yet they work locally: Feed 'ttp://newsrss.bbc.co.uk/rss/newsonline_world_edition/business/rss.xml ' could not be loaded. Error: Download error Feed 'http://newsrss.bbc.co.uk/rss/newsonline_world_edition/front_page/rss.xml ' could not be loaded. Error: Download error Feed 'http://feeds.fxstreet.com/fxstreet ' could not be loaded. Error: Download error Feed 'http://www.dailyfx.com/feeds/forex_market_news ' could not be loaded. Error: Download error Feed '/rssTest/newsFeed.xml' could not be loaded. Error: Download error Even a test feed on my server is not working. I have no proxy settings set under "Host", what can I try to get this working? Thanks, Donovan
