I am getting this same error message. Seems that when the page loads this module seems to timeout getting the feed and gives this exception. This is just a guess. I tried kicking the retrys to 5 and lowering the retry time delay to 60. So far it has not reoccurred since I moved to 5 retries.

Still getting the error even with the retries set to 5. I filed a bug report at http://support.dotnetnuke.com/Default.aspx?p=23&i=8848

Any movement on this?  I would say half of the events in my log are from this error.
