I'm using DNN 4.8.2. for our Intranet and recently I got mayor time-outs when openening our site (portal-page). The entire page won't load.

I've added RSS-news module 4.0.1 to the portal-page with 6 feeds (feeds from Orizont's Nuke-news modules). Everything works fine for a while but every 2 days or so the portal seems not reachable anymore.

It seems that the problems started when I added this module to the portal-page. I've now removed the module and so far everything seems ok.

Any ideas?

have you checked with the module developer about this?

A couple of questions...

Are you using 6 feeds in one module instance, agregatting all of them?

Have you tried unchecking the 'Use Ajax' checkbox in the module settings area?

Yes, i am using 6 feeds (6 feed-url's) and i'm now testing if disabling Ajax is the solution

I'm also checking if disabling the cache (by setting the cachetime to -1) might do the trick.

So you think Ajax might be the cause of things? Do you think disabling the cache is an option or is it asking for trouble?
