Can the publication date of RSS feed be localized? For example, if I use another language on my DNN created pages, I also want to display the date from the RSS feed to my current language selected. If it's possible, how do I do that? What commands should I use?

Thanks a million.

So when you say localized, are you talking about just changing the data format to the format of the corresponding language, or are you talking about converting time too?

Hi Josh,

Thanks for reading and taking time to reply. It should also change the language of your date and time. Just like when you change your Regional Settings on your PC into another language, your date and time on your system tray will also change. That's what i'm trying to accomplish.

If this is not possible, can i set(manually) the date and time into another language? how can i do this?

Thanks once again. I really appreciate your response.

Well, our goal is to make all of the modules 100% localized, and so I would say that supporting what you are talking about is something we would need to do.  It may be slightly tricky in some instances however.  The date would come in via the RSS Feed, and we would not be garaunteed that the date is in the proper format or indicates the origin's date/time, but in the event that it was properly formatted, I think it would definitely make sense to convert the date/time as you describe.

I have added an issue to Gemini (support.dotnetnuke.com) so this enhancement does not get lost and it can be implemented in a future version:

I don't suspect this will be something that will be a part of this upcoming version, but I do think it is something that should be accounted for in a future version after that.
