Is it possible that a vote can be casted more than once via refreshing or is another method used to cast multiple votes?

I ask because one of my sites was subjected to vote tweaking and I used Survey 3.3 with cookie tracking and DNN 4.4.1.

Currently FireFox web browser will allow multiple votes if using cookies (a member provided a fix but it doesn't work wit the ASP.2.0 code).

The only way to have reliable results is to use member based voting.

Pressing F5 with member based voting will cast the vote again.

Wow thats the first I ever heard of that. Well the next version will have results stored in a database so the problem will go away.

I looked at it again and it's a bug. To fix the problem. log in as Host, go to SQL and enter this in the box and click the execute link (this will be in the next version but it wont cause a problem when you upgrade):

ALTER procedure AddSurveyResult

@SurveyOptionID  int,
@UserID          int

as
DECLARE @i int
Set @i = (SELECT COUNT(*) AS records FROM SurveyResults WHERE  (UserID = @UserID) AND (SurveyOptionID = @SurveyOptionID))

/* If the rating does not already exist insert it */
if (@i = 0)
begin

update SurveyOptions
set    Votes = Votes + 1
where  SurveyOptionID = @SurveyOptionID

insert into SurveyResults ( SurveyOptionID, UserID )
values ( @SurveyOptionID, @UserID )

end
