Hi,

I recently have this error after clicking "Submit Survey"

DNN 4.8.0, using Page Blaster, Friendly URLs OFF. No other special configuration.

Does anyone have an idea why this happens?

Thanks

Duc

Ok, this is caused by Friendly URLs off. Turning F-URL on will fix the error.

Hi there,

The exact same error turned up on one of my sites even when friendly urls were turned ON.

Error: Survey is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Input string was not in a correct format. ---> System.FormatException: Input string was not in a correct format. at System.Number.StringToNumber(String str, NumberStyles options, NumberBuffer& number, NumberFormatInfo info, Boolean parseDecimal) at System.Number.ParseInt32(String s, NumberStyles style, NumberFormatInfo info) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Survey.Survey.lstResults_ItemDataBound(Object sender, DataListItemEventArgs e) at System.Web.UI.WebControls.DataList.OnItemDataBound(DataListItemEventArgs e) at System.Web.UI.WebControls.DataList.CreateItem(Int32 itemIndex, ListItemType itemType, Boolean dataBind, Object dataItem) at System.Web.UI.WebControls.DataList.CreateControlHierarchy(Boolean useDataSource) at System.Web.UI.WebControls.BaseDataList.OnDataBinding(EventArgs e) at System.Web.UI.WebControls.BaseDataList.DataBind() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Survey.Survey.DisplayResults() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Survey.Survey.DisplaySurveyPage() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Survey.Survey.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

DNN v.4.8.2
Survey 4.5.0

Error occurs on clicking "view results" link.

Previous actions: answer (mandatory) questions in random order, skip some questions to cause "imcomplete answers" warning, next complete answering then submit survey correctly. Next click view results which causes above error.

Any ideas? Thanks already.

Does the survey work correctly other than the View Results link throwing the error? Also, if you create a new Survey and add a few questions and responses, will it also throw the error?

Hi,

I've traced the cause for this error, pretty silly really: on setting the "Max, Graph Bar Width" I wrote 150px instead of just the number 150.
Problem solved and sorry to have taken your time for this. Small improvement for next Survey version might be to only allow numbers or add warning to helptext.

Thanks again,
Fws Master
