Any thought on creating a provider for nSurvey (very nice open-source Survey app)?

nSurvey is a phenominal survey and quiz application.  Oliver Hine has provided a DNN Provider for it in the past, but there is much more integration that could be done (i.e. roles and surveys are defined at a install level not at a portal level.

I really appreciate oliver's work, and he is working on an easier integration as he stated in the nSurvey Forums last week. nSurvey is very powerfull (everyone who needs more functionality for surveys may have a look at it), but I see also a need for a simpler module, easy to install and to handle, so I vote for continuing the core module (beside nSurvey), so everyone has a choice to find an appropriate module (I don't expect, there will be many more so you loose oversight as e.g. for download modules, where about 20+ modules exist.)

Cheers from Germany,

I have tried to contact Oliver to see if he would be interested in exploring the merge (or replacement) of the DNN Core Survey module with NSurvey, but have not heard back from him yet.

Moving forward, my thoughts are to enhance the DNN Survey module in such a way that it can provide simple surveys as it does now, or more complex surveys for those that want more.  Hopefully this can be done without increasing the complexity of the module from the end user's perspective.

Good news.

Oliver contacted me and has talked to Thomas and they are both agreeable to having nSurvey become the core Survey Module for DotNetNuke.

Next step is working out the licensing.
