Developing With:

DNN 4.3.5 Starter Kit
Windows 2000
Visual Studio Professional 2005
Visual Studio ASP Web Server
SQL Server 2005 Express

I answer the questions in the newly created survey for the first time. After clicking on the Show Results link, I am unable to get back to the Survey module.  No matter what I do, only the results of the survey are displayed.  There should be a Show Questions link, but it never appears.

I assume that this may be fixed by installing the Survey Module Beta at http://www.adefwebserver.com/DotNetNukeHELP/Misc/Files/DNN4_SurveyModule_Beta_8_27_2006.zip

My question is, if I install this Beta version of the Survey Module, will there be any issues when I try to upgrade to 4.3.6?

Thanks,

While I am 99% sure there wont be any changes (the module is going through the testing phase now) you might want to wait the 3 weeks or so for it to be released.

Thanks for the quick response.  I will wait for the final Survey Module release.  In the meantime, can you please verify that the issue(s) identified above will be addressed in this upcoming release?

Thanks,

I rewrote the logic for the survey module and in testing all featured worked. Can you download it and install it in a test installation?

I installed the Survey Beta Module in a test installation.  If I log in as Host or Admin, I can now see and click the View Survey link which takes me back to the Survey Questions.  I can not see this link if I am an Unauthenticated or Registered user.  All View Module Permissions check boxes are greyed out.

I also had the following regression bug:

I installed the Beta Survey Module on "top" of the existing Survey Module using the Upload Custom Module page.  I then logged in as Host.  When I returned to the list of questions, all questions and radio button responses were now in Times Roman instead of the standard DNN system font.  I am using a very generic, out of the box installation of DNN with one of the standard built-in skins.

I would be happy to e-mail you a screen snap shot if the above explanation is not adequate.

Thanks,
