I'm having, and have always had, a hard time getting the source code up and running so that I can modify it. Can someone please give me a step by step process of how to get the latest asp.net 2.0 version of the survey source code to compile? I've tried adding it as a library, a web site, adding references from the DNN 4x, but keep getting compile errors on the download source code.

Thanks for any help!

The PA and source code are now the same. All you do is install it using these directions:

Installing the Survey Module

You then open up the site in Visual Studio and make changes. After your change simply save the file. You do not have to compile it. ASP.NET compiles on the fly.

AH! That would make it  very easy. I'll give it a try. Thank you!

Yes, all you need is the Free Visual Web Developer Express. You can use Visual Studio, but I actually reworked the module and developed it in Visual Web Developer Express (to make a point).

I hope that beginners and experienced developers will explore the code and see how simple modules really are.
