I have moved my repository content to my new site. Everything worked fine. However i want to change some fields via database. For example added date for items. My old site i have items from 2006. But after moving and re-adding content date fields, download fields and other similar fields re-crated. However i would like to edit this fields from DB

Is it possible?

Thanks

Are you just looking to modify the create dates and other dates of that nature?

If they are in the database you should be able to update them, I would make a database backup first prior to playing with it though.

Actually i created my backup already. I'm just trying to play with things to fit my needs:) For example News Article module lets me change its fields via db, but Repository module doesnt allow. :(

The Repository module can't prevent you from making db changes directly, so I'm not sure what you mean by "Repository module doesn't allow".

The Repository items are stored in the grmRepositoryObjects table. Each item has a CreatedDate and an UpdatedDate column which stores the date the item was initially uploaded and the last date the item was edited, respectively. You can certainly edit those values directly in the db or via sql script if you need to.

Ok, i was wrong with "Repository module doesnt allow" part. It should be "Database Doesnt contain any edit button for items at grmRepositoryObjects table"

I rechecked this table and cant find edit button. Everything shown except edit button. :(
