I need to upload a number of large ZIP files that might have a file size close to 600 MB in size.  However, I am getting a SystemOutOf Memory Exception.  Has anyone been able to or know how to avoid this?  Does the DNN Server need 2+ GB of RAM for this to work?

Thanks...

A lot can depend on the number of users you have on your website.  Typically for a file that large, it would be a good idea to use an actual FTP client to upload it as there can be many points of failure trying to upload something of that size via a web browser.

Do you if there is a method to just copy the files for the Repository to the server and get a "refresh" of the files available.

If not, maybe I could just upload a small proxy file, just to get the entry in the Repository listing for the large file.  Then rename the large file to the proxy filename.

I would have to test this out on my server at home, I'll try to look into it tonight and I'll get back to you!

I'm trying to do the same thing here, upload a large file, and have been able to FTP the file into the Repository folder on my server.  The problem now is that it is not listed in the Repository Module as an available file.  How do I go about getting the module to recognize and list the file when it is loaded via FTP?

I did run synchronize from within Admin/File Manager and this did indicate a jump in file size that is consistent with the file I added so that was helpful but it is still not listed in Repository.

Thanks for the help.
