Is there a way to search the repository only? If not can there be? Using the site search for a very large repository is not a viable option. I would really like to find a way to search the repository only, and then even within categories if thats possible. Something similar to the way you can search in Scott McCullochs News Articles module.

Right now, there's no way to search just the Repositories. The Repository module uses the core Search functions.

I'll add your request as an enhancement request in Gemini. ( posted as REP-2305 )

Thanks Steve. I believe this is vital to this module. I currently have a very small repository and already have a large number of complaints becasue they need to sift through returns from the entire site. This is especially bad on a large site with a small repository as well. There may only be 50 items in the repository and a site search can yield hundreds of results.

This has just reached critical mass for me. My site logs are filled with search errors, search does not work on half my installations and it's broken on anything upgraded from 3.1.1. to 4.x. The scheduler eats resources like they are going out of style on large installations and there has not been a response to tons of questions in the search forums here.

Is it possible that the "Repository Only" search not rely on the DNN search for results?
