Hello,

I use the DNN Repository Module (release 3.1.6.14242) with DNN 3.

In a first time, when I want to upload a new file in the repository (ie. Word document), I choose file to upload, categories, summary, etc… and I click on ‘send file’ button. The function is OK.

In a second time, when I display files list in the directory, I can’t download file by clicking on the file icon because a new window is open and display only the icon.

Have you a solution to associate hyperlink and icon file with to download the previously uploaded file ?

Thx. David.

David

Have you got a site where I can see the problem you're having?

Hi,

Unfortunately, the web DNN site is not open on internet.

The link behind icon is http://163.64.64.116/Kocas/DesktopModules/Repository/MakeThumbnail.aspx?tabid=61&id=8

When I click on icon, a new windows is opened, which contains only the icon (not my WORD document).

My objective is to open my WORD document, directly by clicking on icon.

In addition, users can correctly open or download WORD file thanks to ‘DOWNLOAD’ hyperlink (see link below).

__doPostBack('dnn$ctr385$Repository$lstObjects$_ctl4$hypDownload','')

Perhaps the link behind the icon is badly build ? Have you an idea ?

David

Hi,

>> Which Repository skin are you using? one of the default ones? if so, which one?

I don’t use DNN default skin.

I use a free skin called “XDMediaBlue” offers by Nina Meiers on web site xd.com

http://www.xd.com.au/xdmedia+blue.xd

I will try to use DNN default skin with the repository module and I feed back you if the result is better

David
