Hi Guys,

I was wondering if you could help me out here. I am in the situation where I have a repository that needs to be maintained by a group of people. In other words, they can all upload files to the repository (this is easy to do using roles) but then they must all be able to edit and update those files. At the moment they can only Edit and Update those files that they have uploaded. In other words those files with their userid in the Createdbyuser fields in the DB. Is there any way I can set this up?

Currently only the admin or host can edit all files. In the next version (which is undergoing bug testing) has what you're looking for.

Hi Mikeh,

I was wondering if you know anything of a time frame for this next version. When are you guys planning to get it out into the worl? Just an estimation is fine. Cheers.

It's in the Release Tracker which pulls it out of the Repository teams hands but unless something is found that we totally missed it should be out by the end of the month at the latest. I don't think the Tracker is public yet but if you check Steve's blog he explains the whole process.
