Hi,

Searched forums but couldnt find a topic about it so here is my question:

Is it possible to disable the moderate feature? So if someone is uploading a picture for a photo album is approved automatically.

Thx

It is covered in one of the forum threads but I'll answer it again. While you can't disable the moderate feature you can get around it. Give moderation permissions to the same groups that you allow to upload. When they go to upload it'll be automatically approved. Please note though, that it's a bad idea to give All Users moderation permissions.

On our site we already had various roles defined. Roles that we also want to use for allow uploads.

So i checked all roles that are allowed to upload files and checked the same roles that are able to moderate.

Still, when a user uploads a file, it's not automatically moderated. As far as i can see, the administrator has to allways approve the upload.

Or is there a setting i have missed?

There was a bug in the moderation feature in 3.1.6.

It is fixed in the January release ( 3.1.8 ) and will be available sometime before the end of the month.
