I have a client that is looking to build a substancial repository of PDF documents.  He needs to be able to search through the content of the PDFs and display a list of documents containing the search string.  I've look at the feature list for the DNN Repository and the DNN Documents module and neither appear to have this capability.  I've also spent the last couple of evenings searching the 'Net for third party DNN Modules but so far I've come up empty. Does anyone know of a module with this capability?

Steve:  Do you think this is feasible addition to the Repository Module for a future version?

Any feedback is more than welcome.

Thanks,
Chuck R.

Full text search of document content in addtion to module content is not trivial, usually involving a scheduled task and third party solution to read, parse, index and store keywords in a database or reference file. I'll take a look, but that would be a significant piece of code. I would suggest going to the Products=>Development=>Road Map page on this site and nominate that for a future core feature. If it gets enough community support it will be looked at from a core perspective.
