I am building an Intranet document library using the Repository module, as the Documents module is not up to par for this.

It does not seem as though you can search across multiple repositories in the same DNN install, is this correct?   What should I do to compensate for this, as I'm using multiple modules of the repository to gain my desired functionality for the Intranet site?

Also, is there a way to place a SEARCH function in a Dashboard module?

Sure you can, but you need to perform a search on the DNN directly, not in the search box of Repository. This way, it works in ALL repository (but for the moment, depending of your repository version, there is a problem with the search function).

Just for your information, the problem with the search is solved with the new dev build provided by Steve.
