Hi,

We would like to use the repository to store articles listed by category. One of the requirements would be to have a separate URL to display the full text of the article.
Ideally, the URL would incorporate the title of the module into the URL.  www.domain.com/repository/Repository-as-an-article-database.aspx
If this is not possible, I envision a URL field added, whereby the repository item could be linked to another page on the site. This would work just as well as we could have more control over the final URL

If we make these modifications ourselves, can we give the code back for a future inclusion into the module? We would rather not lose the ability to take advantage of future upgrades.

Hello,

Repository is available with a [PERMALINK] token, which provide a unique URL for each item (unfortunately, for the very moment, there is a bug with it).
But you do not have the title in the URL...

For your purpose, the best thing is to buy Ventrian modules (News Article is the one you need), that you can find here: http://www.ventrian.com/
I have my website working with Ventrian NEWS ARTICLE, and it is just perfect. You can check my pages "Hollywood FX - Tutorials" to have an idea of the URL and way of using it.
