Hi,

I had a user post in my forum the other day saying that some of the file download links he clicked were sending him the wrong files. Like he was viewing the file Apples.zip and clicked the Apples.zip download link, and it sent him Oranges.zip instead.

I went through the log viewer to see if i could find any errors during his login period and i found alot of errors related to the repository. These are the 3 errors i found recurring on a daily basis. I haven't been looking through my log files lately, but was surprised to see so many. A few hundred of these in a 3 day time frame. I have my log file limited to keep it at a resonable size for most types.

One of the other things i see when browsing through the File Library is very random changes of the category or attributes as i page through. For example, i am currently in ALL Category and ALL Attributes, viewing page 10 of the File Library listing. When i click to go to the next page, the category will change, and now i am on page 11 of Flightplans Category and ALL Attributes. This is totally random and quite sporatic. I have never seen a Javascript error either.

Out of curiosity, i went to view my DRM Objects table in the DB and noticed that there were a few entrys out of place. The first column, the ID one, will list from 1 to 500 entrys. A few places, there will be 1 or 2 ID's out of sequence ... 55,56,57,88,89,58 ... like that.

I hope i have given you enough info as to some things going on with my Repository, and can give you whatever access you need if you want to look further for yourself. One other thing i should mention is that this is a fresh install of DRM, not an upgrade.

Thanks, Gary

Gary, these are all manifestations of the same error. This has been fixed in 3.1.8 which should be available in approx. 1 week
