I have been using the Repository module for over a year on a church website.  We upload the weekly audio recordings in MP3 format of the sermons.  Last week I decided to update DNN from 3.0 to 3.3.7 and since then the Repository module has stopped functioning.   I have tried upgrading the module to 3.01.13 but it still doesn't work.  Basically when I try to upload a new file, after filling out the upload form and hitting UPLOAD, I immediatly get the following error message:

The connection was reset
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

Unfortunatly this error message is pretty useless as it doesn't even give me a clue as to what the problem may be.  Has anybody experienced this or have any idea what may be wrong?  Here is the Audio Recordings page on our website: http://odcc.org/AudioRecordings/tabid/84/Default.aspx

Did you check the eventviewer to see if there is a more detailed message? How big are these files? Did you perhaps forget to change the uploadable filesize in the web.config when you upgraded (if you had changed it for DNN 3.0)?

Mike, that's exactly what the problem was.  Thanks!  I am an idiot.  It's been over a year since the last time I modified DNN and I totally forgot that I had to change the upload size in web.config.  Thanks so much!

I'm getting an error when trying to upload a file too.

An Error Has Occurred When Attempting To Upload your article. Please Contact Your Hosting Provider To Ensure The Appropriate Security Settings Have Been Enabled On The Server.
Actual Error: Access to the path 'C:\Inetpub\vhosts\svug.org\httpdocs\Portals\0\Repository\tip.3482b810-8680-49fd-a9b6-66a60c7616fe.pdf' is denied.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

I suppose that in host settings, the .pdf file extension is not authorised. Check this setting (not in repository, in host setting - advanced setting, fle upload extension).
