Hello everybody,

I've noted that in repository module, for each file uploaded by a user ,a guid is added to the file name. For example, if a user upload a file named images.jpg, in the repository folder this file appears as

images.03a690f5-0487-4bd5-b8aa-5afeb6cd9db1.jpg

When in the module you modify an existing video, only the file name is displayed (without the guid).

Can anyone tell me which is code to obtain this? And how can I display only the file name?

I've solved the problem.

I use this code:

string fileExtension = System.IO.Path.GetExtension(FileName);

string strGuid= Guid.NewGuid().ToString();

FileName = FileName.Substring(0, FileName.LastIndexOf(fileExtension));

FileName = FileName + "." + strGuid + fileExtension;
