To my understanding that the Repository actually maintained it own list of file descriptions and the actually filenames. So whenever it go through the Repository module everything works perfectly fine.

However, when I tried to put a link in another HTML module the only way I managed to get it work is to look in the file location Repository/, and pick the file I wanted. The problem is a sequence of random numbers will appear in the file name, and make it difficult sometimes when there are numbers in the actual filename.

Is there any plan to integrate the 2 things so that whenever I go to the Link Gallery, there will be a forth option named "Repository" in addition to the 3 we already have (URL, Page, File). And we will have something similar to what we seen in the Repository module, having the "correct" filename, and maybe the categories?

Thanks, Raymond

in the current version there are no plans to integrate the repository files with other modules. the next version (4.0) will no longer use it's own file storage mechanism, but will instead use the core file systems.
