Hi,

I am building a corporate intranet and have a bunch of word and pdf files on a server share.  I do not want to upload these to the webserver and would like to use either the repository or documents module to list and make the files available for downloading.  How can this be done??

Thanks,

Aaron

Hey Aaron!

Right now I don't believe it can be. There is however another solution, Speerio file manager pro. http://www.speerio.net. The downside is it is not ready for DNN 4.x yet. I am currently using this module on a corporate intranet to access a multitude of files all over the companies network.

You can see it in action you know where under Home > Utility > and then the different managers. However becasue of the module configuration potentila the ability for the admin to change the settings there is disabled.

Jack,

Thanks again for your help.  I contacted speerio and the latest FM Pro release 3.0 is due out any day and will do everything I need and work on 4.0.x.

Thanks Again,

Aaron
