well, best laid plans ... :)

My original intention was to have a functional 'beta' of 4.0 ready for the OpenForce conference but that just didn't happen.

I'll be attending OpenForce next week in Las Vegas, and after the conference will be ramping up and focusing solely on 4.0. My goal is to have a functional beta by the end of the calendar year. I will be posting some entries in my blog during this time talking about some of the exciting technologies I'm using in the new release. I'm near to finishing up the new template engine and that will be my next blog entry. After that, I'm going to be working on the views and events system and the data storage layers.

Thanks for asking :)  It's always a little encouraging to hear that people are interested in what I'm doing .. it makes it easier for me to find the time to work on it  :)

You know that we are ALL supporting you, and are very happy with every new release. Sometimes, we are a little bit "rude" with you, but we love the work you do.
