Steve,

I hope this isn't a stupid question, but I haven't been able to sort it out. I need to be able to link to a file in a repository from a different page. The scenario is this: I'm loading a series of white papers in to a repository. Then, on a separate page, I have a list of brief articles that I want to link to the white papers for detailed information. The problem is the link. How do I do this? If the answer is you can't, is it too late to get something for the next release?

Best, Jerry

Hello Jerry,

Permalink is probably what you need. It will link to the repository ITEM. It won't link to the file itself. Steve is working on a solution for linking directly to the file (EVERYBODY would like this feature...). But it won't be available for this release if I have correctly understood. In the mean time, try using Permalink, that works great (you have to add this token to your template). Have a look to the manual.

DV
PS: I use it on my webpage (Links page as well as Free HFX if you want to have a look)
