Steve,

I know you have been busy with the new RC's of 3.x but I just wanted to show my continued support and interest in version 4.0.  Any news for those of us interested?

Thanks,

Dan

Thanks Dan,

Unfortunately, I am spending much more time than I anticipated in trying to get 3.01.14 out the door. It seems there's always just 'one more fix' to go in before I can release it to the dnn release tracker process. I feel strongly about not releasing the module with known issues. I realize software is never perfect and there will always be problems (bugs) ... and at some point you just need to 'let it go', but I've felt that the past few issues found in the 3.01.14 release candidates required fixing.

A post by brad regarding the latest RC (9) has me a little concerned. He mentions a number of serious problems with the module settings
1) If i now go into the settings of any of my repositories i see an error icon at the bottom of the reposiory section that states - "An Error has Occurred" - Erro: Repository is currently unavailable
2) If i look within the repository settings section, the entire security section is missing?
3) All of the repository skins that i had in my drop list are not showing

I cannot reproduce those errors, but I have limited testing environments. I would really like to hear from others that they are not having any problems with RC9 before I consider releasing it.

But ... to directly answer you question :)  I have not spent nearly as much time on 4.00.00 in November and December as I had planned, but I am as excited about it as you are and I really, really hope to get into heads-down coding mode next week after Christmas.

Have a GREAT holiday to all of you and thanks for your support of the Repository module. I truly appreciate it.

Hello Steve,

I can not reproduce the bugs mentionned above. You are near the final release, I made intensive tests, and the last bug concern the [PAGER] functionnality (maybe it also cause some problems for Brad with its repository, I have strange things which are happening, like skin break). See more information in my last post with screen capture here.
