I need some help here. I am using the Repository module to list businesses (restaurants, clubs, bars, etc..) around town. My idea is to have people submit different clubs, bars, etc... for rating and commenting. However, I need to make it to where they can add the Address and Phone number to whatever place they are adding. I know nothing about editing/making xml files. Can someone point me in the right direction here?

Actually... I'm an idiot! I some how overlooked the Address input text box that lets you do exactly what I wanted (lol)... Now, my only thing is in the top left-hand corner of the module, on the UPLOAD button, how can I change the text on that button? I would like it to say something else like "Add" or "Add Business". I would also like to remove the option "Download" and "Author" from the sort box. I can't seem to find anyway to do this? I've opened up the .html and .xml pages in FrontPage for the template I am using, but can't seem to find out how to do what I want.

Another problem I've run into is whenever someone goes to UPLOAD (at least for me this is happening). It gives you a text area to type in the Description of what you are adding, but for the Summary, it gives you the text tool bar, but no space to type something unless you check the "Basic Text Box" or hit the Up arrow all the way to the left of the tool bars. If you hit the up arrow, it removes the tool bar and allows you to type in a text box. Is there some type of limitation as to how much this page can display? Why is it cutting off that text field?

If I keep on, I will eventually answer myself I guess.... I was about to go crazy with the issue of not having a text box to type in... Had to go to "show custom editor options" then select "other editor options" and force a "height" to 200.. FINALLY HAVE A TEXT BOX... still working on the other issue about removing items from the Sort By drop down menu....

In order to change the sort by options, you'll have to make a code change, as the dropdown is created and populated in code as part of the template engine.

There is another option though .. although I haven't tried it, it should work. You could add some javascript to the header.html template file to remove the undesired options after they've been rendered. Just get a reference to the dropdown list control and remove the items you don't want.
