I have a problem with the repository.

I am using version 03.01.13 with dnn 3.3.7 and browsing through IE 6.0.2008.1106 SP1 on windows 2000 SP4.

When I click download, I get the dialog asking me to select open, save or cancel. When I choose one of them I get the same dialog opening again.

I am using this as an intranet. Can anyone help me eliminate this?

Have you looked in the IIS logs? Usually they are locted at %WinDir%\System32\LogFiles\W3SVC1\*.log. They should give you response codes of the server which can be helpful.

Hi Irene,

Most of the time this behavior is the result of IE not understanding the filename being downloaded.

1. what is the filename and extension of the file being downloaded?

2. what happens when the dialog opens for the second time? does it then download the file? or does the dialog just keep re-opening forever?
