Is this repository module a replacement for Santry's Resource Directory Manager? I have a website that uses that module as a library for articles and at this point I literally have hundreds of links to external pages. Now I want to upgrade my version of DNN to 3x and need to replace that functionality. Will the respository do the same job? If it will can someone point me to examples where I can see it in action. If not can anyone point me towards a solution that will.

I'm pretty sure you could use it as a replacement but I don't have much experience with Santry's RDM. I have seen posts here in the forum that it doesn't quite do everything that Santry's does/did or that it does it differently. That said, by using the directory or filelist (with some template changes) templates you should be able to do everything you need to do or close to it.

Documentation is being worked on and will hopefully be completed for the end of the month.

Yes, the Repository Module ( using the directory template ) can replace the Santry Resource Directory Manager.

In fact, the Repository Module is used right here on dotnetnuke.com for the Resource Directory

Is there a way to migrate the data from the santry module over to the repository?

No there is no 'automated' solution to converting RDM data to the Repository module.
