Hi,

Most of the images (like 95%) i use for each object uploaded are category or attribute type images that are stored on the server. I would love to see an option to choose an existing image on the server, and choose whether to thumbnail it or not if it is within a size in the Repository settings, when you upload a new file.

I think this would improve performance also since only 1 in 50 images may need to be thumbnailed. I am not sure how you have the thumbnailing of images working in the module, but it kinda makes sense to me.

This is a good idea-  another time saving feature would be a checkbox that would automatically create a thumbnail if the main uploaded object is an image (another Gallery module does this using some graphics API - would not be much code but a real time saver!) and the other feature I would like to see (not sure if possible ;) would be to extract the first frame from a video (if main upload is a video) to use as the thumbnail - there may be a graphics API to do this - I don't know... of course - there are more important features but I can wish, can't I ;)
