anyway to configure Repository module so that users can view only their own uploading files, and the admin for all, sub-admin for only a particular category of files?

Sorry but in the current version, permissions are set at the Repository level, not the individual item level. You're not the first one to ask about this, so we'll definately think about adding it to a future release. It might not be included until the May release, which is scheduled to be an enhancements release.

The next release will be the end of April, but that will be mostly bug-fixes.

thank you for the confirmation. in that case, if i want to modify the source code in order to make this work as viewing individual set of uploading items only, where in the code should i look into?
