Hi, I am attempting to install the Repository module on the latest DNN website and am getting the following error:

StartJob Creating files
Failure ExceptionSystem.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path 'd:\hosting\member\nonstopmark\site1\DesktopModules\Repository' is denied. at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath) at System.IO.Directory.InternalCreateDirectory(String fullPath, String path, DirectorySecurity dirSecurity) at System.IO.Directory.CreateDirectory(String path, DirectorySecurity directorySecurity) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.ResourceInstaller.PaDnnInstallerBase.CreateModuleFile(PaFile File, PaFolder Folder) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.ResourceInstaller.PaDnnInstallerBase.CreateFiles(PaFolder Folder) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.ResourceInstaller.PaDnnInstallerBase.Install(PaFolderCollection folders) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.ResourceInstaller.PaInstaller.Install()

 

This looks like a security error. Any ideas on what I need to set in order to make this installation error free. I am hosting my website at webhost4life...

Check with your Host but it looks like that directory doesn't have read/write permissions for the user account that your install runs under.

Cheers Mike... all working now... I swapped providers and so needed to make the appropriate change :-)
