I'm using a modified portfolio template right now, and would like to figure out how to do the following two options:

all comments left behind are moderated before they are on the live site.

When someone clicks on the picture to see a bigger version, it simply goes to the full size picture.  Is there anyway to load a page with the fullsize picture, and still maintain the title, description etc.?

I would at a minimum like a response if this is completly imposible.  I've been looking- and no luck.  I'll even take a gentle push in the right direction, but some help would be nice!

 Hi Jacob,

I'm by no means an expert on the repository having only worked with it for 4 months (perhaps my potentially inaccurate response will provoke another) but here goes:

1. There is no facility to moderate comments.  You'd need to code that yourself and recompile the module.  If you're a VS2003 developer and have the time to do this, I'm sure others would be interested in your work.  Perhaps there's an alternative to traditional moderation workflow that someone has thought of?

2. The thumbnail that's produced when you click on the image is generated by compiled code stored in DotNetNuke.Modules.Repository.MakeThumbnail.  Again, I believe you'd need to code and recompile to get your desired change.

I've been keen to have a crack at  extending the module, but alas, I've only VS2005 and VS2008 in my toolkit.  From my brief reading I'm of the understanding that the Repo module uses the 1.1 framework and needs VS2003 to recompile.

Sorry - no solutions, but perhaps my post will spark another response.

Good luck,

James.
