Hi @all!

I have an installation of DNN 5.1.4 and Repository Module 3.1.15. My website has an extranet-functionality, so i provide downloads via repository-module in an restricted area.

Problem: I create an Archive of PDFs (21 MB) and upload it into my repository module. I can find the file wia ftp-access and download it via ftp - all is fine. If i download it via "download"-link in the repository it is broken. After downloading and opening winzip, winrar and others say: "unexpected end of file". I tried to compress it via winrar, and old winzip-version and the newest one. So i guess there must be an issue concerning the filehandling via "linkclick" or something similar. I changed some settings in web.config like:

maxRequestLength="1024000" requestLengthDiskThreshold="1024000" executionTimeout="1500"

Since this website belongs to a project of the European Union i really need help for this. I can provide testing access to this site if anybody wants to see it.

So far... please help :-)

Markus

 As we tested the issue yesterday the files are 1 Byte smaller after downloading... We could exclude any compression/whitespace/... issue so far.

I hope this information helps to get that solved.

I am having a similar issue. All archives are "corrupted" when I attempt to download them. Even if I manually replace the archives using the same name, the downloaded archive is still "corrupted" when I download it.

Just to be clear, not only have I made sure that the zip files are valid, I also followed the advice in this pinned thread here to ensure that I can upload larger zip files:

The Repository module uses the same code as the core File Manager to download files.  Can you please do me a favor and try to download the .zip files you are having the problem with by going to the Admin-File Manager page and try downloading them using that method?  I would like to see if it's specifically a problem with the Repository module.  Also, what program did you use to create the 'zip' file?  WinZip? 7-Zip? any special options, or did you use the defaults when creating the zip?

That's a problem for me, because I do not see the files or the Repository folder in my File Manager, even after Recursivley updating the folder list.

I use 7-zip with default options. I just select the files, right-click, and the add to [file name].
