I am trying to modify the template so I can add links instead of uploading files.  I would also like to have the "image" be the hyperlink.

I've looked at the various suggestions in the forum and they either don't work or I get an error.

When I change the [FILE] to [URLCONTROLFILE] in form.html I receive the following error when I try to add/upload a link:

The argument 'fileName' cannot be null or empty. Parameter name: fileName

I see the following also but the "Upload" or "Save" buttons are not visible:

Enter a Title for the file you are uploading

A Title is Required
Link Type:
Location: ( Enter The Address Of The Link )

Any ideas?

Seems to be a problem in DotNetNuke 6.0 only, must have been a breaking change somewhere in the core URL control.  The change from [FILE] to [URLCONTROL] file works fine in 5.6.3, but does not work in 6.0.

I'll look into it and see if I can figure out what's changed in 6.0

thanks for bringing it to my attention

I found the issue, and have fixed it in a beta release labelled 03.05.05.
If you wish, you can download and install version 03.05.05 of the Repository Module here
http://gooddogs.com/Downloads/tabid/1...

It fixes 2 issues with DotNetNuke 6.0
1) fixes the [URLCONTROLFILE], [URLCONTROLIMAGE] tokens
2) fixes the layout of the Module Settings->Repository Settings tab.

NOTE: Version 03.05.05 of the Repository Module can ONLY be installed on DotNetNuke 6+
