Is there any means to link to a specifc single item in the repository, ie to link to a single directory listing to display it by itself?

Also is there any means to deiplay a single random item, such as in a spotlight type setup to showcase one item on a page?

The first one you could maybe hack if you look how the dashboards link to a single item (heck end result querystring) and then hardcode it into an HTML module as a link (untested)

The second one would be a really cool new dashboard - Random Listing... I second that ;)
I've got a few ideas for new dashboards ("views") of data - it would be cool if some more tags were exposed in the dashboard templates - such as listing the URL, description or something so you can give more than just the link.
