Hello,

I would like to know if Repository module can be installed on DNN 7 ?
Is it fully functionnal ?
If not, is it intended to support it ?
If not, is there any alternative that you might know ?

Thanks a lot,
DV FX

Hello Steve,

The module is working for downloading in DNN 7. But as soon as I try to upload a file, I have the following error message:

PS: You can easily reproduce it: install a fresh DNN 7 locally, and then install Repository 03.05.06
Set up everything, and try uploading something.

Sorry Declic, I created a new DNN 7 site, installed Repository 3.5.6 and it works fine, no errors on upload or download. Testing a bunch of options, the module works.

The error you are getting actually has nothing to do with the Repository module, most likely it's an issue in your web.config or possibly the skin you are using.  There is a setting in the web.config that validates URLs, or maybe you have some other module installed that inspects and validates URLs.  The Repository module does not alter or validate the URL in any way.

Take a look in your web.config file in the system.web section for the httpRuntime tag, see what the requestValidationMode is set to.

httpRuntime requestValidationMode="2.0"
