Well like him --> (http://dotnetnuke.com/Community/ForumsDotNetNuke/tabid/795/forumid/54/threadid/37669/scope/posts/Default.aspx) my error disappeared magically. And I really don't know why.

So I have modify form.xml in templates\default. I have generate the solution and I have no error.

But when I want to upload just an article, it still tells me "A file is Required"

Is it possible to modify the module just with the install or is it necessary to have the source ??? (because when I put source.zip, It tells me some mistakes -- it can't find some files).

Thanks for your reply.

You don't need the source to make the changes. Try making a copy of your default template and call it something like popop_default and make the changes in there. Or log in with your host credentials and make sure you clear your sites cache under Host->Host Settings. From what I remember I had the same problem getting the Required setting to work when I was testing Steve's changes.

When you load the source, what files is it saying that it's missing?

I have done what you say, and it's the same result A file is required

...

- <Object>
     <Token>[FILESIZE]</Token>
</Object>
- <Object>
     <Token>[FILE]</Token>
-    <Settings>
-       <Setting>
           <Name>Required</Name>
           <Value>false</Value>
       </Setting>
  </Settings>
</Object>
- <Object>
     <Token>[CREATEDDATE]</Token>
-       <Settings>
-          <Setting>
              <Name>DateFormat</Name>

...

I have clear the cache with Host->Host settings->Advanced settings->other Settings but no change.

For source, I have delete all. So I remember for example that "RSS.aspx.vb" was untraceable (but this file is in the project ... It's strange ).

Send me an email (mhorton@telus.net) and I'll send you a working template.

As for the project I just saw something that I missed in one of your previous posts. Are you trying to open the source under your DNN 4.0.3 install? That would explain why you're getting errors. The project is a DNN3/ .NET1.1 project and can't be opened and compiled out of the box in DNN4/.NET 2.0.
