Hi

I'm seeing this same problem in 4.3.6 running on my server.

Using the standard "Articles" template I cannot post a single article (no error shown).

Using the Nifty with Toggle template I cannot post an article unless I include a file for upload. If I then adjust the FORM.XML file as suggested, adding the "Required" "false" setting, then the problem is still there - "A File Is Required".

Anyone got any suggestions?

I'm getting the same validation error, DNN 4.3.7 using Article template. There is a token for File, with a setting name, Required, that is False. Could it possibly have to do with the other file upload for an image?

I am running into this same file upload issue. The repository module is requiring a file to be uploaded even though the xml token is set to false. Please let me know if you figure anything out.

appreciated.

This is not the first thread on this issue. I have spent a few hours on this too.
