Forgive me if I missed this being coverd before. Can I add custom data fields to the Repository?

For example, if I am using the businesscard template as a starting point and have already used the Download token to enter a URL for the business how can I duplicate this to add a Map link? In the form I would like a field for Map URL and on the display I would like text "Map to this business." I'm thinking the first step is to add a field to the database and then a new token. But is this already built in to the Repositiry and I missed it?

And I don't won't to leave it up to those populating the entries to add this link in the Summary via the text editor. For most users, simply filling out an online form is challenge enough.

Steve, would you mind going into a little more detail about the proposed UDF solution please? I want to add the same to my Events and other modules, and was considering an intergration project with a Forms module vendor, but possible if the core has a generic solution planned for this then it would be better? Is there going to be a central UDF core and then any module can take avantage of it?

I'd like to know where this is being discussed, as this is the #1 important thing in a portal IMO. I don't like how right now it seems you're going to be using value-pair (value attribute pair?) method for what will eventually be UDF's.

This goes against the very core of best practices in terms of relational database design. I've tried this myself and ran into problems with scalability.
