I am looking to expand on the Repository module.  I want to add an Alert feature that I have written for another module.  http://www.getyourowntots.com/Projects/DNNProjects/HTMLTextAlerts/tabid/92/Default.aspx

Obviously I don't want to alert users to the fact that a new file has been posted if the file is waiting to be Moderated.

I have dug into the source of the Respository and I can see where in Form.ascx in the CreateInputForm routine that there is an IsModerated variable that is some how checking if the InputForm is moderated.

I want to modify the btnUpload_Click function in Form.ascx to determine if the posting process is moderated or not.  If it isn't moderated than I will alert my users.  If it is moderated than I need to wait until the file gets approved to alert the users.

Incidently, this is a feature that I will love to see simply integrated into the repository and in most of the DNN core modules.  Alerts are the one thing that Microsoft Sharepoint does right in my opinion.

Thanks in advance,

Stuart
