I am presently attempting to add a new field to the upload screen. I have made all of the necessary changes to the backend but am now wondering how to get the new text box to show up on the upload page itself. Do I need to add a token to all of the xml files?

I'm not near the code but from memory yes you will along with the tag in the .html of your template. The easiest thing to do is to follow along with one of the current tags to see exactly how everything works.
