Hi,

I'm not sure if I'm just not using my repository optimally, but here's something I run into. I have a single instance of a repository on a "Documents" page for our Intranet. I then have categories like Benefits, Policies, and Safety. I have a dashboard showing these categories on this page.

I have specific pages for Benefits, Policies and Safety. Let's say I'm on the Benefits page. This has some benefits text, a forum highlight, and I want to display a list of the relevant Benefits documents. I can drop a dashboard on the page, but can only choose a whole repository to filter by, so I can't show the benefits documents.

If I try another way round, I can put a repository module on the Benefits page ... but then I can't consolidate nicely on the Documents page.

What I thinki I need, is a view of the dashboard where I can choose a repository and category(ies), and display the documents for that. Even better, display this as a filelist, so these documents can be downloaded directly from this page without having to redirect to another page.

Is there a way to achieve what I need or would this need to be developed seperately?

Thanks
Rozanne

You are correct, you cannot do that with the current version.

It has already been requested in Gemini.

REP-2909 New Feature Major 01. End User Functions

Repository, Dashboard

I will do my best to include that in the next release

Hi Steve,

Thank you!!

I forgot about this post - have modified my repository since and posted the code in a seperate post, maybe it saves you a few minutes. I only modified mine for the "latest posts" template, since that was all that was needed.

Hi there, I'm trying to add another field to the dashboard.

I want to show the title and the date and the new field which is the description. I want to limit the description to 20 characters.

Would you be able to guide me on how I can go about modifying the dashboard repository?

Any help you can extend out to me would be most appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Regards

Johann

See the bottom of this post on how to add support for a new TOKEN in the dashboard
